slow burn thunderstorm days

Cas challenged me to be brave and ‘blog’ some of my writing.

Here goes. This is what it is (sometimes) like to be me:

slow burn thunderstorm days

tension of the infinite possibilities

body tingles and mind twitches along

in time

invincible self becomes black hole

swallowed and crushed at the vanishing

point

event horizons of the self

I’m stretched out

falling in

for one glorious moment I’m

everything/no-one/alive/awake(for the first time)/a secret

what you and the world has been waiting for

heart-in-my-mouth

even the seagulls are portents of greatness

and the crazy guys on the corner

share in this secret knowingness

later, in the pit:

bitterness and confusion

tripped over my own fear

fallen crashing from the heights

angry at the world because…

there are no Jedi’s,

not even me

  1. Why not? It’s you and the way you have experienced things and sorted them out and are expressing them with great eloquence (spelling!) and, from your point of view, you’ve summarised it in a nutshell!

  2. I’ll aks him and if he is cool I’ll put it up. It’s certainly my favourite peice of writing I have made in a long time.

Poke him for me? maybe get him to come and join in! If he wants to understand web 2.0 blogging is a good way. Cas, over at Brightmeadow has much cool stuff about social computing. You should head on over (follow the links top right 🙂 )

  3. Been a busy week and much computer time without my control ( I need my very own lap-top] on account of business plans etc. so haven’t asked yet if he’s visited but instinct says go for it – can you sue in cyberspace?

He’s writing again (publically) but then he’s always written….
